#107: Richard Harvey (NFL vet) | The seeds of motivation that can create abundance

This week on the Shark Effect I had the pleasure to catch up with one of my mentors who taught me the intricate facets of being a professional football player. His name is Richard Harvey. Richard was drafted in the 11th round of the 1989 NFL draft. But despite the odds, Richard played Linebacker for 12 years (Bills, Patriots, Broncos, Saints, Raiders, and Chargers). Have a listen as Richard and I pull back the curtain of the nature of the NFL and the coaches that have had an incredible impact both on and off the gridiron.

What we discussed:

  • How being a good listener can set you apart from your competition.
  • The difference between "good" teams and "bad" teams.
  • Your character & relationships can pay huge dividends.
  • How having a mentor can be the biggest thing for unleashing your greatness.
